GAIMIN Gladiators DOTA 2 Team Finishes 4th at the Stockholm Major Rankings

Press Release
Published in the Press Zug, Switzerland, May 22, 2022: GAIMIN Gladiators is pleased to announce that its DOTA 2 team finished in 4th place at ESL One Major Stockholm.
Over the past ten days, GAIMIN Gladiators’ DOTA 2 team earned unprecedented acclaim for their run at the ESL One Stockholm Major.
The team’s success was also unprecedented for a newly formed team. This is something that is not usually seen outside of the most established and well-funded teams.
The DOTA 2 team lost to OG in the lower bracket semi-finals at Hovet Arena in Stockholm.
This placed them in 4th position in the tournament.
GAIMIN Gladiators management was thrilled with this performance.
The DOTA 2 team gained experience playing in major tournaments and, for the first time,
heard their growing fan base chanting “GG” in a large arena!
Alex Cocovillo is VP and co-founder of GAIMIN Gladiators. “I am pleased with the team’s performance.
This was the first time they competed at this level,
the first time they stood on stage together, and their first opportunity to gel with other teams.
This tournament strengthened our team’s bond and the team performed professionally in every aspect of the event.
I am pleased with this team’s performance and look forward to their progress in other tournaments and events.”
Shaun Porter is CEO and founder of GAIMIN Gladiators.
“The team exceeded our expectations at this tournament and showed a professional approach throughout the event.
Early event statistics are still being finalized,
but with an average of 250,000 viewers and a peak viewership of more than 560,000 during the event,
GAIMIN Gladiators are starting to make their mark!”
Martin Speight, CEO of GAIMIN, stated: “Hearing ‘GG’ from the crowd and seeing Slacks interviewing attendees who were supporting GAIMIN Gladiators was absolutely incredible!
We invested in esports five months ago to raise awareness of GAIMIN.
That decision has been vindicated by this team. We all look forward to their continued progress!”
