rather he wanted to tell people himself so that he could feel at ease, and as he added, at the same time,
he was obligated to be honest with his audience, who had been waiting for his new works, to face them with his decision personally.
He further added: My words were clear, I did not speak about what is permissible or forbidden,
and I am not in a position that qualifies me to speak on such matters, I am not a religious scholar or a mufti,
this point I did not address in my speech, and I did not speak about any other person
On the contrary, I was speaking about myself and personal matters that concern me, in the end it is for me a matter of freedom of expression.
He also said recently on his personal page on the “Twitter” platform: When I gave up listening to songs for the sake of God.. God Almighty compensated me by granting me the memorization of the Holy Quran,
It is worth noting that the retired singer was among the contestants of the “X Factor” Egyptian edition held in 2013,
and its judging panel included Elissa, Wael Kfoury, Hussein Al-Jasmi and Carol Samaha, and the Moroccan Mohamed Al-Rifi won the title,
and after the competition ended, he released many works that were admired by a large number of the public and followers,
but he went on to delete all those songs from all digital platforms as much as possible.
