Ukrainian Woman Destroys a Russian Army Armored Vehicle and the Army Celebrates Her:
In what is perhaps the worst image imaginable, and the look in that child’s eyes while fleeing death,
many shared across social media in Ukraine, and in media reports, this Sunday,
the story of a woman from the Kharkiv region (located in the northeast of the country, the second-largest city in Ukraine by area and population),
who managed to destroy a Russian military vehicle using a Molotov cocktail,
The Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
shared a video via their official Facebook page showing a military carrier on fire,
and the Ground Forces commented: “In the Kharkiv region, a young woman set fire to an armored personnel carrier (APC) with a Molotov cocktail.”
The statement provided no additional information about the woman,
neither her name nor her age (for example), and was content to stoke Ukrainian enthusiasm with the call: “Be like the woman from Kharkiv.”
Amid enthusiastic comments from Ukrainians who praised the bravery of this woman,
earlier Ukrainian reports also celebrated a naval engineer named Vitaly Skakun,
who blew up a bridge in Henichesk to slow the advance of Russian forces, while he was unable to escape and was killed after completing the operation.

whether among the ranks of the military or even civilians at all levels,
whose homes and neighborhoods have been targeted by heavy bombardment and the destruction of operations that have continued for the fourth consecutive day,

as local reports in Ukraine documented this Sunday morning,
the killing of a girl named “Polina” after her family was shot at, resulting in her death and the death of her parents as well,
according to Kyiv City Council Secretary Volodymyr Bondarenko,
who also posted old photos of the girl on his Facebook page,
stating that Polina, who was a fourth-grade student at School No. 24 in Kyiv, was killed in the incident,
while her sister is currently in intensive care at the hospital.
In this same context, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova
released details of the killing of a civilian journalist and community activist who was shot in the Kharkiv region.
The slain journalist is named Shakirov Dilerbek Shkurovych,
and he worked for the weekly newspaper “Around You” and was a member of the House of Hope charitable foundation in Ukraine.
She also revealed that “an ambulance was shot at on the highway in the Kherson region while transporting the wounded,
resulting in the injury of the ambulance driver, aged 64, a soldier, and one of the wounded by a bullet.
