One of the outstanding and pioneering young women in the field of computer science and computer engineering, Engineer Dina Ayman — under 30 — is among the most influential young people.

During her honoring by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the closing ceremony of the World Youth Forum, held in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh just days ago,

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi honored a number of young men, women, and influential figures, among them Engineer Dina Ayman,

Dina Ayman, 28 years old, is considered the youngest university professor in the field of Computer Engineering at New Jersey University in the United States,

and she was selected as one of the top 30 most inspiring figures in the world under the age of 30 in this field.

In her statements, she said:

She graduated from the Computer Engineering department at the same university (New Jersey) and earned her Master's degree in the same field in the same year, then went on to work at Intel Corporation.

Before moving into academia during the COVID-19 pandemic, she became the youngest university professor at the institution, having not yet turned 26 at the time.

On Being Selected Among the Top 30 Most Inspiring Figures:

Engineer Dina Ayman said: In December 2021, I was selected by Forbes magazine as one of

the top 30 most inspiring people in the world under the age of 30 — and this selection was in

the field of Computer Engineering. I was nominated by a group of global companies, including Facebook, Amazon, Intel, Google, and Microsoft, and I went through three rounds of evaluation until I was chosen from among these inspiring figures based on a set of their established criteria.

On her own company:

Engineer Dina Ayman added: She founded her own company, which works on promoting diversity

and inclusion in the information technology sector — a company that provides services to corporations and institutions.

On President El-Sisi's Honoring of Her:

Dina says: I am very proud and very happy about this recognition in my home country for my work in the United States,

and I felt that I was representing Egypt and all Egyptians — especially when the recognition comes from President Abdel Fattah

El-Sisi, as I was the only person honored in Egypt for work done abroad.

I also felt that I represent all women working in the technology sector and other fields.

On Egyptians and the Scientific Field:

On the state of science in Egypt, the Program Manager at Microsoft, Engineer Dina

Ayman, affirmed that there is no difference scientifically between Egyptians and non-Egyptians — at this forum (the

World Youth Forum) I met many brilliant Egyptians who were truly exceptional in

their fields. She added: I find nothing missing that would prevent us from making a leap in the scientific field — especially

when I met these individuals at the forum and found that they are conducting advanced scientific research of

the highest quality. This forum was also a great opportunity to showcase such talents and skills,

which will lead to Egypt's development in this field, God willing. What we still need to improve is scientific research

in the technology and virtual world sectors — beyond that, we lack nothing to keep pace with the world and meet

the challenges in this field.

Engineer Dina Ayman concluded by saying: I have very high ambitions and always have goals I strive

to achieve — and what drives me most is my love of representing Egypt and Egyptians abroad

in a successful and worthy manner.
